01. BROTHER DCP-8080DN INSTALLATION

Unpacking and setting up the Brother DCP-8080DN printer for the first time

Step 1: Unpacking the printer

  • Unpack the product box.
  • Check to make sure that the following components are provided inside the box: Brother DCP-8080DN printer, drum-unit assembly, CD-ROMS (Windows & Mac), Product registration sheet (the USB only), AC power cord, quick setup guide, user’s guide, and accessory order form.
  • Now, place the printer on a table or a surface where you can use it comfortably.
  • Remove all the packing materials from your printer.
  • Place the unpacked printer on a neat surface and go to the next step of the setup.

Step 2: Installing the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly

  • Initially, make sure that the interface cable is not connected to your printer.
