Review

Brother HL-L2390DW is a monochrome laser printer that comes along with the flatbed scanner and that can be so convenient for copying and scanning. The printer is engineered in a way to give out the best printing qualities, exactly what a user looks for in a printer. The Brother DCP L2550DW printer is almost similar in terms of functions. The printer uses LED technology that is more cost-efficient and reliable than the traditional laser printer.

With the quick printing speeds of up to 25 pages per minute, you can double the productivity at work or at home. The Brother printer also has a manual feed slot for other printing needs. With the help of easy connections and easy mobile printing options, the printer works hard along with the compact design ideal for small workplaces.

Brother DCP L2550DW printer is a monochrome machine that also acts as a copier and scanner. The best ones about the printer are the toner cartridge and the drum unit. You can easily yield up to 1,200 pages from a single standard toner cartridge based on the printing volume.

The Brother HL L2390DW printer has a larger display with a slightly faster printing speed along with an Ethernet port. The HL-L2390DW printer also has a higher paper yield with a low printing cost. The printer forgoes elite appearances. It has a two-line, backlit, monochrome LCD sans a touch screen. To use the options, you must use the physical buttons (up/down arrows) on the control panel. The printer has a lighter lid because it does not have an Auto Document Feeder that would have complemented copying and scanning.

As a multi-function printer, Brother DCP L2550DW lives up to the expectations with a 50-sheet ADF for both copying and scanning documents. On a side note, it does not perform automatic 2-sided functions. It can easily connect to the computer through the standard USB cable or to a local network through Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi direct is one more option. It works well with the Brother iPrint&Scan app, also enabled with AirPrint and Mopria for iOS and Android devices. The printer averages a printing speed of 34.7 pages per minute that is shy of Brother’s average 36 pages per minute printing speed. It easily prints out a full suite that includes PDF, PowerPoint, and Excel.

On the other hand, the Brother HL L2395DW printer turned in similarly with 33 pages per minute for a normal document and 14.6 pages per minute for a full suite.
