01. INSTALLATION OF CANON MG3650S:

Being an All-in-One printer, Canon MG3650S provides various options for the printer setup. However, the basic printer setup is similar to other PIXMA printers. If you are new to the printer setup, go through the instructions given below.

Unboxing the printer:

• CD-ROM
• User guide
• AC power cord
• FINE ink cartridges

• Once you have done unpacking the printer, remove the protective tapes and covers.
• Remove the packing materials inside the printer.
• Connect your printer to an electrical outlet using the provided power cord.
• Press the ON button on the control panel to turn on the printer.

Installing the ink cartridges:

• Open the front cover and then wait for the carriage to become silent.
• Unpack the ink cartridges.
• Remove the protective tapes from both cartridges.
• Insert the color ink cartridge into the left-side slot of the carriage. Similarly, insert the black ink cartridge into the right-side slot.
• Secure the cartridges by pressing down the lever.
• Close the front door and check if the power lamp flashes. If Yes, then your printer is charging ink.

Loading print media:

• Slide out the paper input tray.
• Slide apart the paper guides.
• Fan a stack of legal plain paper.
• Load the paper stack into the paper input tray.
• Adjust the paper stack with the paper guides.
• Lower the paper output tray.

Installing the printer software:

Using the provided CD-ROM, you can install the printer driver on your computer. In case your computer doesn’t support the CD-ROM, follow these steps to get the printer driver from the official Canon site.

• On your computer, open the default browser.
• Go to the official Canon site.
• Click the Support tab and select Downloads & Help.
• Type ‘Canon PIXMA MG3650S’ in the search field and select the printer model from the search result.
• Click the Drivers tab and select your OS version and language from the available drop-down menus.
• Choose the required driver and click the Download button.
• Wait until the download gets completed.

Once you have downloaded the driver, follow the installation procedure given below.

• To begin with, double-click the downloaded driver file.
• Run the setup file to begin the driver installation wizard.
• Choose your language and country from the given options and click Next.
• Accept the license agreements and click Next to continue the setup process.
• Choose your connection type and click Next.
• Carry out the instructions in the setup wizard and complete the driver installation.
• To check the connection between your printer and computer, print a test page.

02. INSTALLATION OF  CANON PIXMA TS3150:

If you are setting up the Canon Pixma TS3150 printer for the first time, follow the steps given below to do it quickly without errors.

Unboxing the printer:

• Start by taking out the printer from the package.
• Check if the following components are present in the package.
• Power cord
• Setup CD-ROM
• FINE cartridges
• User Manual
• Take out the above-mentioned printer supplies and keep them away for later use.
• Next, remove the protective tapes and covers from the printer.
• Connect your printer to an electrical outlet using the provided power cord.
• Press the ON button to turn on the printer.

Installing the cartridges:

• First, open the front cover and then wait for the carriage to move from the right to the left.
• Unpack the FINE ink cartridges.
• Remove the protective tapes from the cartridges.
• Tilt the color ink cartridge and insert it into the left-side slot of the FINE cartridge holder.
• Next, insert the black ink cartridge into the right-side slot of the cartridge holder.
• Make sure that both the cartridges are firmly inserted into the holder before closing the front cover.

Loading print media:

• Open the paper support first.
• Slide the paper edge guide towards the left.
• Fan a paper stack well before you load it into the rear feed slot.
• Adjust the paper stack with the paper guide.
• Pull out the paper output tray and then open the output tray extension.

Installing the printer software:

Using the provided CD-ROM, install the printer software on your computer. If your computer doesn’t support the CD-ROM, get the driver from the official Canon site by following these steps.

• To begin with, open the default browser on your computer.
• Go to the official Canon site.
• Click the Support tab and select Downloads Help.
• Enter ‘Canon Pixma TS3150’ in the search field and click the printer model from the search result.
• Click the Drivers tab and choose your OS version from the drop-down menu.
• Choose the required driver from the available list and click the Download button.

Now, the driver file will be downloaded to your computer.

• To install the printer driver, run the setup file first.
• On Windows, click Yes if the device prompts for User Account Control.
• On Mac, enter the administrator password in the available field and click Continue.
• Click the Start Setup button in the setup wizard.
• Choose your language and country from the available drop-down menus.
• Agree to the EULA and choose your connection type.
• Carry out the on-screen instructions and establish the connection between your printer and computer.
• After completing the driver installation process, verify the printer functionality.
