01. CANON PIXMA PRO 100 INSTALLATION

Canon Pixma Pro 100 is a single-function printer that comes with InkJet printing technology. The device is designed stylishly and compactly so that it never occupies much space. It is ideal for printing vibrant colors, and it delivers high-speed prints.

• Connect the power cable to your Canon printer and an electrical outlet.
• Press the Power button.

• Open the printer output tray.

Step 5: Load the paper

• Open the paper support of the Canon Pixma Pro 100 printer to its rear side.
• Open the feed slot cover.
• Align the paper guide by sliding it to the left to make the paper fit the tray.
• Place the paper on the tray by keeping the printable side facing up.
• Adjust the paper guide against the paper.
• Make sure that the paper edges do not get damaged.
• Open the paper output tray and pull the output tray extension.
• Close the feed slot cover gently.

Step 6: Connecting Canon Pixma Pro 100 to Wi-Fi

• Turn on your Wi-Fi router.
• Make sure that the printer is placed within the Wi-Fi network range.
• Check whether the printer is turned on.
• Now, press and hold the Stop button for a few seconds until the ON button's LED light flashes six times.
• Now, your printer prints the network configuration page, which helps you know the current setup.
• Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on your printer and wait for a few seconds until the LED light on the ON button flashes twice.
• Once flashed, the device will act as an access point.
• Now, press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router within two minutes.
• Wait until the blinking LED light on the router turns solid, which indicates that the printer is connected to the router.

Step 7: Installation of software

• Make sure that your Windows computer is connected to the Internet.
• Insert the printer driver CD to install the driver.
• You can even download the driver installer from the Canon official web page.
• Make sure that you download the driver that supports your OS.
• Once downloaded, go to the Downloads page and double-click on the setup file.
• Click Install.
• Choose the Wireless Network Connection on the Connection Method screen.
• Perform the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

02. CANON PIXMA IP8720 INSTALLATION

Step 1: Unpacking Canon iP8720

• Open the printer box.
• Remove the printer and all the components from the box.
• Check if you have received all the components.
• Remove the protective cover and tapes from the printer.
• Place the printer closer to the power outlet to access it easily.

Step 2: Turn on the Canon Pixma iP8720 printer

• Connect the power cable to the rear side of the printer and a wall socket.
