How to Print using Printer?

  • Make sure to turn On your printer.
  • Check if the printer and the computer are linked either through a wired or wireless connection.
  • Select the Windows logo that is available in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  • Open File Explorer, and click on the document you want to print.
  • Choose the Share tab that is present on the upper left corner of the window.
  • Click Print, and a Print window opens. Select the Printer drop-down box, and choose the name of your Envy 5530 printer.

  • Click the Print option. In Mac, open the Finder menu on your dock. Navigate to the appropriate folder, and click on the file which you want to print.

  • In the Copies field, select the number of copies to be printed. In case If you want to alter anything other than Paper settings, select Show Details.
  • Click the Paper size option to scale the margins for a variety of paper sizes.
  • Choose Print on the bottom right corner of your Mac screen.

How to Perform Two-Sided Printing using HP Envy 5530 Printer?

  • To overcome the issues with page ordering, load sufficient amount of white papers in the main input tray.
  • Select the document you want to print, and click the File menu.
  • Choose Print, and from the list of available printers, click the model of your HP printer.
  • Select Preferences or Printer Properties based on whichever option appears on the screen.
  • The Printing Preferences menu opens. Choose Two-side Printing or Print on Both Sides from the Printing Shortcuts tab.
  • If the Two-side Print option is not available, select the Layout or Features menu. Locate the Print on Both Sides or Two-sided printing option and click it.
  • Choose Binding or Page Flip as per your requirement.
  • Select the OK button, and click Print. Remove the pages that were printed from the output tray.
  • Tap the printed pages on an even surface to align them.
  • Insert the pages in the input tray, and select the Continue button to print even pages.

  • Keep photo or blank papers into the input tray of the Envy 5530 printer.
  • If you are using the ADF tray, load the paper in accordance with the paper width guides.
  • To access the scanner glass, open the lid, and place the document with the printed side facing down.
  • Close the scanner lid.
  • Tap the Start Copy Color or Start Copy Black button on your Envy printer.
  • For devices that have a touch-based panel, tap the Copy Document, Copy Photo or Copy button on the operation panel of the 5530 printer.
  • Change the primary settings that are required for your copy job.
  • To browse all the Advanced Copy settings that are available, tap the Gear icon or the Settings button.
  • To access all features, scroll through the menu.
  • Choose Start, and then touch the Start Color, Start Black or OK button to initiate the copy job.

  • To set up the scan operation, install the full feature software package from this website.
  • Open the scanner lid, and load the document inside the scanner glass. Close the lid.
  • If your printer has a touchscreen or a Scan button, choose the name of your computer.
  • Select a scan job if instructed. The scan process begins, wait for it to complete.
  • Return to the PC’s screen, and click on the file which has scan mentioned in its folder name.
  • If the scan button is not present, open the HP Printer Assistant software.
  • To use the HP Scan software, click the Scan a Document or Photo option.
  • Do any edits to the scan if required, and select the Save icon, or the OK button.

  • Open the HP Printer Assistant software on your desktop, and select Scan a Document or Photo.
  • The HP Scan software window appears on the screen.
  • If you have placed the document in the ADF tray, click Save so that the scanned pages gets saved in a single document.
  • For documents that are loaded in the printer scanner glass, insert the next page. Press the + button, scan the other pages using the above steps, and click Save.
  • Choose the PDF format in the Save As Type menu, and then select Save.
