INSTALLATION

01. INSTALLATION OF EPSON ET 15000

Unpacking and Initial setup:

The box contains an Epson ET-15000 printer, power cord, CD-ROM, Get started guide, Ink bottles (Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow). All the materials inside the box are recyclable.

Note: Do not open the ink bottles until you are ready.

Take out the printer and check all the materials inside the box.
Peel off all the protective tapes from the outside of the printer.
Lift the scanner unit and remove the protective materials from inside the printer.
Close the scanner unit.
Plug in the power cord into the back of your printer and into an electrical socket.

Fill the ink tanks:

Open the ink tank cover and the cap for ink tanks.
Grab the ink bottles (Black, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow) and then shake them gently.
Unpack one by one and remove the bottle cap.
Carefully place the ink bottle on the top of the tank.
Slowly stand the bottle upright and insert it into the opening of the tank.
Wait until the ink fills the tank.
Once done, take out the ink bottle and close the tank cap.
Repeat the steps for the other colors.
Close the ink tank cover.
Raise the control panel and press the Power button.
Press the Start button to start charging the ink.
Press OK and follow the instructions displayed to adjust the print quality.

Paper Loading:

Open the front paper cassette and pull it out.
Adjust the paper guides to the outermost position.
Load the glossy paper with the printable side down.
Adjust the paper guides until they fit against the paper stack.
Keep the cassette flat while inserting it.
Now, pull the output tray.
On the printer control panel, select the paper settings.

Software Downloading Steps:

Connect your PC to the wired or wireless network.

Open a web browser.
Go to the official Epson website.
Enter Epson ET-15000 in the product search bar and click the Search option.
Click on the Downloads tabs, select Windows from the Operating System drop-down menu, and click GO.
Choose your required driver and click on the Download button.

You can use Wi-Fi Protected Setup to connect your printer to the network.

02. INSTALLATION OF EPSON ET 16500

Unpacking and Initial setup:

The box contains an Epson ET-16500 printer, power cord, CD-ROM, Get started guide, ink bottles (Black, Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow). All the materials inside the box are recyclable.

Remove the printer from the box and then check all the materials inside the box.
Take out all the protective tapes from the outside of the printer.
Lift the printer’s scanner unit.
Remove all of the protective materials from the inside of the printer.
You can now close the scanner unit.

Fill the ink tanks:

Open the ink tank cover followed by the ink tank cap.
Get hold of the ink bottles that came with your printer package. Next, unpack these bottles.
Remove the bottle cap.
Position the black ink bottle on the top of the tank.
Stand the bottle in the upright position carefully and insert it into the opening of the tank.
Wait until the ink fills inside the tank. Now, take out the ink bottle and close the tank cap.
Just repeat the steps for the other ink tanks. Close the ink tank cover.
Plug the power cord to the back of the printer and into an electrical socket.
Raise the control panel and press the power button.
Select language, country, date, and time.
Now, press the start button to start charging the ink.

Now, remove the paper cassette cover.

Load a stack of paper.

Software Downloading Steps:

First, open the default web browser on your computer.
