REVIEW

Epson ET-3710 and Epson ET-2760 are all-in-one, cartridge-free inkjet printers designed for home and small office printing, scanning, and copying needs. The print quality of these two printers is excellent, and the running cost is also low. Some common features supported by these inkjet printers are duplex printing, Wi-Fi & USB connectivity, mobile printing, voice-activated, and hand-free printing.

Although the specifications of both these printers are the same, they differ in some features. The Epson ET-3710 printer supports the scan to computer, scan to cloud, and scan to email functions. At the same time, the Epson ET-2760 printer supports the scan to computer function alone. The SD card slot is available on ET-2760 but not on ET-3710. Both these printers lack Ethernet connectivity and the Fax function. However, Epson ET-3710 and Epson ET-2760 are ideal for daily printing and scanning needs.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The below section covers some basic troubleshooting solutions that can help you resolve almost all the Epson ET-3710 printer problems. Click Call if you need remote assistance in resolving your printer problems.

For Epson ET-3710

  • Updating your printer software: In most cases, printer problems occur due to outdated software. So, when you face a problem for the first time, check whether your printer software is up-to-date. If not, update it and resume the printing process.
  • Using the product status message: When something goes wrong, the respective error message will be displayed on your printer’s home screen or the computer screen. So, when your printer stops responding to the print, scan, or copy operation, check whether any status message is displayed on the computer or printer screen. If yes, try to learn more about it and take the appropriate action to fix the problem.
  • Running a product check: This will help you know your printer's current status. Unplug the interface cable from the printer (if connected). On your printer’s home screen, select Maintenance. On the next screen, select Print Head Nozzle Check and press OK. Now, your printer will start to print the nozzle check pattern. Verify the report; if you find gaps or the page doesn’t print properly, clean or align the print head to fix the problem.
  • Restarting the printer: A simple restart can fix most printer problems. Restart your Epson printer and then perform the printer-related operation on it.
  • Restoring the printer settings to default: If none of the solutions fix the problem, restore the printer setting to default. To do so, open the Settings screen and select Restore Default Settings > Clear All Data and Settings.
