01. Installation of Epson ET 5850

The Epson ET 5850 printer unboxing and setup:

Open the box take out the following contents.

The EcoTank ET 5850 Printer
CD-ROM
Power cord
Ink bottles (Black, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta)
Getting started guide

Remove the protective materials

Remove all productive tapes around the printer.
Lift the scanner unit until it stops.
Remove the protective materials from the scanner unit and close it.

Ink tank filling procedure:

Open the ink tank cover on the left side of the printer.
Open the ink tank cap.
Unpack the ink bottles.
Gently twist and remove the cap of the Black ink bottle.
The ink color is labeled above the ink tank.
Place the ink bottle above the filling port and gently raise the ink bottle.
Once the ink tank is filled, remove the ink bottle and replace the bottle cap.
Now, close the ink tank cap.
Follow these steps to fill the rest of the ink tanks.
Once all the ink tanks are filled, close the ink tank cover.
Finally, connect the printer to an electrical outlet via the supplied power cord.
Raise the control panel and then press the Power button.
Set language, time, and date on the control panel.
Follow the LCD screen instructions to start the ink charging process.

Steps to load paper:

Make sure that the ink charging process is complete.
Pull the paper cassette completely from the printer.
Slide the side guides towards their edges.
Load a paper stack into the paper cassette, make sure the paper does not exceed the limit.
Now, insert the paper cassette into the printer until it stops.
Set the paper settings using the control panel.

Locate the setup file on the computer and double-click to start the driver installation.

02. Installation of Epson ET5150

The Epson ET 5150 printer unboxing and setup:

Open your printer box and take out all the components. Your package includes the Epson et 5150 printer, ink bottles (black, cyan, magenta, and yellow), power cord, and a setup CD-ROM.
Remove all protective tapes from the printer.
Open the printer cover and then remove the protective materials from the printer.
Do not touch the white tubes. Now, close the printer cover until it snaps.

Steps to fill ink tank:

Open the ink tank cover.
Unpack the Black ink bottle and open its cap.
Open the ink tank cap, place the Black ink bottle above the filling port, then gently insert the bottle into the tank.
Once you have filled the ink tanks, take out the ink bottle from the tank and close it with its cap.
Follow the above steps to fill the rest of the ink tanks.
Once all the ink tanks are filled, close the ink tank cover.
Next, connect one end of the power cord to the printer AC inlet and the other end to an electrical outlet.
Turn on your Epson printer by pressing the Power button.
Follow the LCD instruction to set the language, date, and time.

Steps to load paper:

First, open the paper cassette cover and then pull the paper cassette until it stops.
Slide the paper guides to their extreme end.
Take a stack of paper and load the sheets into the paper cassette and then adjust the paper guides to hold the edges of the paper stack.
Raise the paper cassette cover and then insert the paper cassette into the printer until it stops.
Insert the setup CD-ROM into the computer and install the printer driver on the computer.
