01. Epson Et-7700 Installation

Step 1: Unpacking the printer

If you’re setting up the Epson ET-7700 printer for the first time, then begin with unpacking.

  • Open the top cover of the product box.
  • You can find the setup CD, start here guide, power cord, extra maintenance box, and a set of five ink bottles.
  • Take the printer and its components out from the box.
  • Now, remove the packing tapes and materials from your printer.
  • While unpacking the printer, make sure to remove the protective materials carefully.

Step 2: Filling the ink tanks

  • Raise your printer’s scanner unit.
  • Now, open theink tank cover followed by the tank caps.
  • Get the ink bottles that are provided along with the printer and unpack them.
  • Fill the tanks with the respective ink type.
  • Avoid overfilling the ink tanks.
  • After filling the tanks, close the caps.

Step 3: Turning on the printer

  • Get the printer’s power cord.
  • Using the cord, connect your printer to a power outlet.
  • Gently raise the control panel of your printer.
  • Locate and press the Power button on the printer.
  • Now, your printer’s Power LED will light up.
  • Wait for your printer to complete its initial boot-up process.
  • Once it is done, select the device language and other preferences by following the instructions displayed on your printer screen.
  • After configuring the settings, save them by pressing the OK button.
  • As soon as your printer screen displays the Start Initialization message, press the Start button to initiate the ink charging process.
  • Once the charging process is completed, close the ink tank cover and lower the scanner unit.

Step 4: Loading paper

  • Pull out the paper cassette of your printer.
  • Align the guides of the cassette based on the paper type that you’re loading.
  • Load paper in the cassette and place the cassette back into your printer.
  • Now, configure the paper settings on your printer and go to the next step of the setup.

Step 5: Installing the printer software

  • Open the printer driver file on your computer.
  • Run the setup file by following the instructions displayed on the screen.
  • When prompted, choose the desired connection type and connect your printer and computer to the same network.
  • Install the printer driver to complete the setup.

  • Gently lift your Brother printer’s scanner unit.
  • Open the tank cover.
  • Now, remove the ink tank caps.
  • Unpack the ink bottles and fill all the tanks with the respective ink types.
  • After filling all the tanks, place the caps and close the tank cover.

Step 3: Turning on the printer

The next step of the Epson ET-7750 printer setup is to turn on the printer.

  • Connect your printer to the outlet and press its Power button.
  • Once your printer becomes stable, configure the basic settings by following the instructions displayed on the screen.
  • When prompted, initiate the ink charging process by pressing the Start button on the printer’s control panel.
  • Once the ink charging process is complete, load paper in the cassette.

  • Take the paper cassette out of your printer.
  • Fan and load a stack of paper in the cassette.

  • Before running the software file, unplug your printer from the computer if it is connected.
