01. Installation of Epson ET 8550

The Epson ET-8550 All-in-One printer delivers crystal clear, lab-quality, wide-format color photos. Enjoy cartridge-free printing and save with low-cost replacement ink bottles. The device also performs the print, scan, and copy functions, which reduces the user’s effort. This printer’s wireless connectivity enables you to connect it from any place within the network range.

Step 1: Unpack the Epson ET 8550 printer

• Connect the power cord to the rear side of the printer and the power outlet.
• Press the Power button on the printer.
• Make sure that the LED light on the printer screen turns on.
• Select your Language, Date, and Time on your LCD screen.

Step 3: Fill in the ink

• Open the scanner unit and make sure that you remove all the protective materials from the Epson ET 8550 printer.
• Open the ink tank cover and then open the ink tank cap.
• Remove the ink bottle from the protective cover.
• Open the ink bottle cap and insert the ink bottle into the tank’s filling port.
• Make sure that you fill the ink according to the respective color of the ink tank.
• Wait until the ink fills the tank, and do not squeeze the ink bottle while filling.
• Once filled, close the ink tank cap.
• Repeat the steps for the remaining ink tank colors.
• Now, close the ink tank cover and the scanner unit.
• Follow the printer screen instructions and press Start to charge the ink.
• Wait until the ink charging takes place.

Step 4: Load paper

• Pull out the paper tray from the Epson ET 8550 printer.
• Align the paper guides to making the paper fit the tray.
• Place the paper on the tray by keeping the printable side facing down.
• Adjust the paper guides against the paper, but avoid making it too tight.
• Close the paper tray and configure the paper settings on the printer control panel.

Step 5: Connecting the Epson ET 8550 printer to Wi-Fi

• Turn on your Wi-Fi and make sure that the printer is placed within the Wi-Fi network range.
• Tap on the printer screen to access the Home screen.
• Select the Network icon on the printer’s Home screen.
• Select the Wi-Fi (Recommended) option and tap on the Start setup option.
• Tap on the Wi-Fi Setup Wizard option.
• Your device will search for the nearby available Wi-Fi networks.
• Select your Wi-Fi network name and provide the required SSID details.
• Wait until the connected message appears on the desktop.

02. Installation of Epson ET 15000

Epson ET 15000 is a wireless All-in-One printer that offers cartridge-free printing. It is easy to fill the super-sized ink tanks and you can save ink with the low-cost replacement ink bottles. The device delivers highly impressive quality prints with vibrant colors. The printer is known for its versatile paper handling. You can also enjoy printing without touching as it comes with voice-activated printing. The printer performs multiple functions, such as printing, scanning, and copying.

Step 1: Unboxing the Epson ET 15000 printer

• Unpack the printer from the package and remove all the components from the box.
• Remove all the protective tapes and seals from the machine.
• Place the printer close to an electrical outlet.

Step 2: Fill in the Ink

• Lift the scanner unit and remove all the protective materials from the Epson ET 15000 printer.
• Open the ink tank cover and open the ink tank cap.
• Take off the protective cover from the ink bottles.
• Open the ink bottle cap and insert the bottle into the filling port.
• Make sure that you fill the ink based on the respective tank color.
• Wait until the ink gets filled in the ink tank, and do not squeeze the ink bottle while filling. Close the ink tank cap once the ink is filled.
• Repeat the above procedure for the remaining ink tank colors and lower the scanner unit.

Step 3: Turn on the Epson ET 15000 printer

• Connect the power cable to the rear side of the printer and an electrical outlet.
• Tilt the printer control panel and press the Power button.
• Access the printer touchscreen and select the Language, Date, and Time.
• Follow the printer screen instructions and press Done to charge the ink.
• Wait until the ink charging takes place.

Step 4: Load the paper

• Pull out the paper tray from the Epson ET 15000 printer.
• Adjust the paper guides by squeezing and sliding them to make the paper fit the tray.
• Place the paper on the tray by keeping the printable side facing down. Adjust the guides against the paper.
• Close the paper tray and pull out the output tray.

Step 5: Connect the Epson ET 15000 printer to Wi-Fi

• Turn on the Wi-Fi router and place the printer within the Wi-Fi network range. Press the Home button on the Epson ET 15000 printer control panel.
• Select the Network icon and then tap on the Wi-Fi (Recommended) option. Choose Start setup.
• Now, tap on Wi-Fi Setup Wizard. Your Epson ET 15000 printer will search for the available Wi-Fi networks.
• So, pick your router name and provide the required SSID details. Wait patiently until the connected message appears on the desktop.

Step 6: Software installation

• Connect your computer to the Wi-Fi network to which the Epson ET 15000 printer is connected.
• Next, insert the Epson driver CD into the computer’s CD-DVD drive to install the software. Or else, download and install the software that supports your OS from the official site of Epson.
