01. Epson WF 2860 INSTALLATION

Unboxing:

  • Initially, begin with the unpacking process. Open the printer packaging box and then check whether the packaging materials are present inside it. Take out the products one by one, along with your Epson WF 2860 printer.
  • Remove all the protective tapes from the inside and outside of your printer.

Connecting the power cord:

  • Connect one end of the power cord to an electrical outlet and the other end to the back of your printer. Turn on the printer and begin to configure all the settings using the control panel. Set your preferences such as time, date, or language.
  • Later, proceed to install the ink cartridges.

Installing ink cartridges:

  • Initially, lift up the scanner unit. Check if the printer is ready to install the ink cartridges.
  • Open an ink cartridge package and remove all the protective tapes from it. Insert every ink cartridge into the printer and ensure that the printer is ready for the next step. Begin the ink charging process. Wait until the ink charging process is complete. Proceed to the paper loading process.

Paper loading:

Since the printer is not yet connected to your computer, install the printer driver from the official HP website. Follow the instructions given below.

  • Using the default web browser, go to the official HP website.
  • Enter the product name in the search bar and then click Search. It directs you to the downloads page.
