01. INSTALLATION OF EPSON WF 7720

Unpack

• Take out your printer from the box and discard its protective materials.
• Discard all the packing items inside the scanner unit.
• Now unpack all the included items and check whether they are delivered without damage.
• Do not unpack the ink cartridges until you are ready to install them.

Connect your printer to a power outlet

• Connect your printer and an electrical outlet using the supplied power cord.
• Lift the printer control panel and turn on your printer by pressing the Power button.
• Choose your preferences on the printer control panel, including language, country, date, and time.

Install the ink cartridges

• Raise the scanner unit.
• Unpack the provided ink cartridges and remove the yellow tape.

Load paper

• Extend the paper cassette and move the guides all the way out.

• Load the stack into the paper cassette and adjust the guides against the paper.

Configure your printer for the fax function

• If you prefer to configure the fax settings now, connect a phone cord between your printer's LINE port and a wall jack. Then, configure your fax settings.
• In case you don't prefer to configure the fax function now, select Set up later.

Software installation

• Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your computer's CD drive.
• Run the setup file and install the software by following the instructions.
• In case your computer doesn't have a CD drive, you can get the software from Epson's official website.
• Visit Epson's official website, enter your printer model and download the printer driver that supports your OS.
• Once the download gets concluded, locate the file in the Downloads folder and install it on your computer by following the instructions.

Connect your printer to your router

• On your Epson WF-7720 printer, press Home > Wireless.

• Extend the paper cassette and move the paper width guides to the extreme ends.
• Take a paper stack and fan the sheets neatly.
• Load the stack into the paper cassette and adjust the edge guides to fit the loaded stack.
• Insert the paper cassette into the printer.
• Extend the output tray.
• If you prefer to configure the fax function now, connect a phone cord between your printer's LINE port and a wall jack. In case you don't desire to set it up now, select the Set up later option.

Complete the software installation

• Take the supplied CD-ROM and insert it into your computer's CD drive.
• Run the setup file and choose Yes if you see the User Account Control dialog box.
• Accept the terms and conditions when you see the End-User License Agreement.
• Follow the instructions and complete the installation process.
• If your computer doesn't have a CD drive, you can get the software from Epson's official website.
• Visit Epson's official website and enter your printer model. Then download the printer driver that supports your OS.
• Locate the downloaded file in the Downloads folder and complete the installation process.
