HARDWARE SETUP

  • Unpack the HP printer from the carton and place it on a flat surface.
  • Open the printer’s cartridge access door.
  • Look and get rid of the packaging materials that are present inside.
  • Unpack the power cord from the sealed packaging.
  • Connect one end of the plug into the main power source and the other end into the rear side of the printer.
  • Turn on the printer.
  • Pull down the front door.
  • Unpack the cartridges from the sealed packaging.
  • Remove the protective tapes from the bottom of the cartridges.
  • Place the Black ink cartridge into the left side of the print head and make sure it clicks in place.
  • Repeat the same step for the other ink cartridges.

HARDWARE SETUP

  • Make sure the printer is within connecting distance of the wireless router and the computer.
  • Open the cartridge access door and remove the packaging materials.
  • Peel the protective tapes surrounding the printer body and discard them.
  • With the cartridge access door still open, install the ink cartridges.
