01. HP DeskJet 3755 Installation

If you’re going to set up your HP DeskJet 3755 & HP DeskJet 4155e printers for the first time, then scroll down this page to know the setup process in detail.

Unpacking

If you haven’t unpacked your HP DeskJet printer, then begin the setup with unpacking.

Place the printer on a table and start unpacking it.

Make sure that the packing tapes and materials present in the important parts of the printer are removed.

Similarly, make sure that the important parts of the printer are not damaged while unpacking it.

Place the printer closer to an electrical outlet.

Turning on the printer

Connect your printer to a power source using its power cord.
Make sure that the cord is connected directly to the outlet.
Now, press the Power button on the printer control panel to turn it on.
Wait for the printer to become stable before going into the next step of the setup.
If the printer fails to turn on, check whether the connectivity is made correctly at both ends.

Installing the cartridges

Once your printer becomes stable, start installing the ink cartridges.
Open the cartridge access door.
Take the cartridges out of their package.
Insert the unpacked cartridges into their slots.
Make sure that the printer cartridges are installed correctly in their slots.

Loading paper

Get a stack of paper of the desired type.
Raise your printer’s input tray extender and load paper into it.
Make sure that the recommended paper type is loaded into the tray.
Similarly, make sure that the paper is not overloaded into the tray.

Pull out the paper output tray extender.

Installing the printer software

Initially, make sure that you have the HP DeskJet 3755 printer driver file downloaded.
Now, open the driver file on your computer.
When prompted, choose the desired connection type and connect your printer to the computer through it.

02. HP DeskJet 4155E Installation

Unpacking

Open the HP DeskJet 4155e printer box.
Take the printer out of the box.
Remove all the packing tapes and materials from the printer.
Make sure that the printer is unpacked completely.
Place the printer on a clean surface and go to the next step of the setup.

Turning on

Connect the printer’s power cord between the printer and an electrical outlet.
Turn on the printer.
As soon as your printer starts to turn on, the carriage moves to the center.
If your printer fails to turn on, then check if the cable is connected securely at both ends.
Once the printer becomes stable, go to the next step of setup.

Installing the ink cartridges

Get the ink cartridges of your printer.
Unpack them without touching their copper-colored contacts or the ink nozzles.
Open the cartridge access door.
Install the cartridges in their slots.
After installing the cartridges, close the access door.

Loading paper

Raise your printer’s input tray.
Get the desired media type.
Based on the paper type you’re loading, align the width guides of the tray.
Load paper into the tray and adjust the width guides properly.
Pull out the output tray extender of your printer.

Installing software

Run the HP DeskJet 4155e printer software on your computer.
Accept the license agreement of the printer.
When prompted, select the connection type of your desire.
