This section will show you how to unbox and set up your HP Envy 4520 printer for the first time.

Preparing the printer for the setup

  • Unpack your HP printer if you haven’t done it yet.
  • To do so, remove the packing tapes, materials, and cardboard pieces from the inside and outside of the printer.
  • Ensure that the packing component present in the cartridge access area is removed carefully without touching the film.
  • Place the unpacked printer closer to a power outlet and go to the next step of the setup process.

Turning on the printer

  • Switch on your prepared printer to begin the setup process.
  • To do so, connect the printer to an active power outlet using the power cord shipped along with the product box.
  • Now, your printer will turn on automatically.
  • Once the printer completes its initial boot-up process, select the desired device language from the list of options.
  • After selecting it, choose Yes.

Loading paper
