INSTALLATION

01INSTALLATION-HP ENVY 5530

Let’s unbox the printer

Take out the printer from the package.
Remove the protective tapes around the printer.
Next, open the ink cartridge access door and remove the packing materials.
Close the cartridge access door and check the paper tray for any packing materials. If there are any, remove them.

Let’s power on the printer

Take one end of the provided power cable and connect it to your printer.
Connect the other end of the power cable to an electrical outlet.
Press the Power button and then wait for the printer to become ready.
On the touchscreen control panel, select your preferences and confirm them by selecting Yes.
Touch Setup and proceed to install the cartridges.

Let’s install the cartridges

With the printer turned on, open the scanner lid.
Next, open the ink cartridge access door and wait for the carriage to become silent.
Take out the cartridges from the package.
Lift the cartridge lid and remove the protective seals from the cartridges.
