01. Installation of HP Envy 5530

HP Envy 5530 printer installation:

Open the box and take all the contents out.
Remove the protective tape around the printer.
Open the scanner lid and remove the Styrofoam from the scanner glass.
Open the cartridge access door and then remove the packing materials from the printer.
Close the printer’s cartridge access door followed by the scanner lid.
Pull the HP printer’s paper tray out until it stops.
Remove the protective materials from the paper tray.
Power up the printer via the supplied power cord with one end of the power cord connected to the printer and the other end to the electrical outlet.
Press the Power button to turn on your HP printer.
On the control panel, select the language, date, and time.

Steps to install ink cartridges:

Make sure the printer is turned ON.
Lift the cartridge access door.
Wait until the print head stops at the center of the printer.
Lift the cartridge slot lid.
Remove the Black cartridge from the package.
Remove the tape using the pink pull tab.
Insert the Black ink cartridge into its slot.
Lower the lid firmly and lock the cartridge.
Repeat these steps to install the Tri-Color ink cartridge.
Once the cartridges are installed, lower the cartridge access door.

Steps to load a paper stack on the paper tray:

Pull out the paper tray from the HP printer until it stops.
Slide the paper-width guides towards the edges.
Load a paper stack on the paper tray.
Adjust the paper-width guides to gently hold the paper stack.
Now, insert the paper tray back into the printer.
Finally, open the paper tray extender.
Once the hardware setup is complete, launch the default web browser on your Windows computer.
Go to the HP official website and download the printer driver.

02. Installation of HP Envy 5660

HP Envy 5660 printer installation:

Open the printer box and take all the components out.
Remove the protective tapes from all sides of the printer.
Open the scanner lid and take the transparent sheet.
Lift the cartridge access door and then remove the protective materials from inside the printer.
Remove any protective tapes on the print head holder.
Close the cartridge access door and the scanner lid.
Pull the paper tray from the printer until it stops.
Push the photo tray in and then slide it out of the printer.
Remove the protective tape from the paper tray and insert the photo tray.
Insert the paper tray into the printer until it stops.
Insert one of the ends of the supplied power cord to the printer and then the other end to the electrical outlet.
Press the Power button and turn ON the printer.
Select the language on the control panel.
Play the animation, then install the ink cartridges, and load a paper stack.

Steps to load ink cartridge:

Make sure the printer is turned ON.
Open the cartridge access door and wait until the print head stops at the center.
Unpack the Tri-Color ink cartridge from the package.
Remove the orange protective tape from the cartridge.
Insert the cartridge into its respective slot until it snaps.
