01. Installation of HP Envy 6052

HP Envy 6052 Printer

Unpack

  • Unpack the printer and take out everything you received.
  • Make sure that you have received all the components without any damage.
  • Take out all the packing tapes and protective coverings from the printer and its accessories.

Connect Power Cord

  • Take out the supplied power cord.
  • Connect it to the printer’s rear port and an electrical socket.
  • Turn on the HP printer by pressing the Power button and choose your preferred settings, such as language, the country you are residing in, date, and time.

Load Paper

  • Extend the paper tray and slide the edge guides to the extreme ends.
  • Load a stack of fanned paper into the paper tray and slide the edge guides against the paper.
  • Insert the paper tray into the printer and press it until it locks in its place.

Install Ink Cartridges

  • Open the HP printer’s cartridge access door and take out the supplied ink cartridges.
  • Take an ink cartridge and insert it into its holder; press it until it locks in its place.
  • Repeat the process for all the ink cartridges, and once you have installed all the ink cartridges, close the cartridge access door.
  • Now, the printer starts to align the cartridges, and when the alignment gets completed, it will print an alignment page.

Software Installation

  • Visit the HP official support page from your default browser.
  • Enter the printer model and download the printer driver recommended for your OS.
  • Once the download gets completed, install it on your computer by following the on-screen prompts.

  • Remove all the packing tapes from the printer and its components. Make sure to unpack the ink cartridges only during the installation.

  • Take out the power cord given along with your printer and connect it to the printer and an electrical socket.
  • Then, turn on your HP printer by pressing the Power button and choose your preferred language.

Install Ink Cartridges

  • Open your printer's front door followed by the cartridge access door.
  • Take out the ink cartridges given along with your printer and unpack them.
  • Insert the ink cartridges into their holders and press them until they click in their holders.
  • Make sure to insert the ink cartridges according to the color indications.
  • Once you have installed all the ink cartridges, close the cartridge access door and the printer's front door.

Load Paper

  • Take a stack of paper, fan, and align the sheets neatly.
  • Insert the sheets into the paper tray and slide the edge guides against the paper.
  • Now, insert the paper tray into the printer.

Software Installation & Wireless Setup

  • On your computer, launch your default browser and visit the official support page of HP.
  • Enter your printer model and download the printer driver compatible with your Operating System.
  • Once the download gets completed, go to the destination folder and run the setup file.
  • Accept the end-user agreement and install the printer driver on your computer by following the on-screen instructions.
