01. Installation Of Hp Envy 6455 Setup

Initially, make sure that your HP Envy 6455 printer is unpacked and ready for setup. As the first step of the setup, turn on your printer. Once your printer turns on and becomes stable, configure the initial printer setup, such as loading paper and Installing the ink cartridges. Make sure that the recommended media type is loaded and the ink cartridges are installed correctly in their slots. After completing the initial printer setup, you can connect this printer to your computer or mobile phone over a wireless, LAN, Wi-Fi Direct, or USB cable connection. To install the printer on your computer or mobile phone using the HP Smart app, connect them to the same wireless network. For Wireless: Use the WPS or HP printer software to connect your printer to the computer wirelessly.

Using the WPS method

  • Initiate the WPS method on your printer by pressing and holding the Power & Wi-Fi buttons on its control panel.
  • Release the button after approximately 3 seconds.
  • Now, on your wireless router, press the WPS button. Once your HP Envy 6455e printer is connected to the wireless network, connect the computer to the same wireless network.
  • On your computer, install the HP Smart app to complete the setup.

Using the HP printer software

  • Open the HP printer software on your computer.
  • Click Tools > Device Setup & Software > Connect a new device.

  • From your computer browser, go to the wireless router’s configuration page.
  • In the given field, type the WPS PIN of your printer and click OK.
