HP Envy Pro 6455 is a multifunctional inkjet printer that delivers printouts with excellent color accuracy. However, it is not suitable for large home/office printing needs because its ink cartridges yield a very low number of pages. The speed of this printer is also not satisfactory and it doesn’t support Bluetooth connectivity. 01. Installation of HP Envy Pro 6455

  • Simple instructions to unpack and set up the HP Envy Pro 6455 printer
  • Open the product box.
  • Take the HP Envy 6455 printer, documents, power cord, and components out of the box.
  • Place the printer on a clean surface.
  • Take the printer out of the cover and remove the blue packing tapes surrounding the printer.
  • After unpacking your printer completely, connect it to an electrical outlet using its power cord.
  • As soon as the printer is connected to the outlet, it will automatically turn on.
  • Wait for the blue light to turn into purple.
  • Once the printer becomes stable, run its setup file on your computer.
  • The printer software will automatically prompt you to perform the printer’s hardware setup, such as loading paper and installing the ink cartridges.
  • When prompted, pull out the input tray of your printer.
  • Align the width guides of the tray based on the paper type that you are loading.
  • Load paper into the tray and adjust the guides correctly.
  • Make sure that the output tray of your printer is opened.
  • Similarly, install the ink cartridges on the printer when prompted by the software.
  • To do so, raise the ink cartridge access door of your printer.
  • Now, get the ink cartridges provided along with your printer and unpack them.
  • Install the unpacked ink cartridges one by one into their slots.
  • After installing the cartridges, close the access door.
  • Perform the driver installation by following the rest of the instructions displayed on the screen.
  • Once the HP Envy Pro 6455 printer driver is installed on your computer, print a test page to check whether the setup is done correctly.
