01. Installation of HP Envy 7640 printer

Unpack

  • Unpack the printer and take out everything you received along with it.
  • Your package includes the HP Envy 7640 printer, power cord, ink cartridges, and a quick setup guide.
  • Take out all the packing tapes and protective coverings from the printer and its accessories.

Connect the power cord

  • Take out the power cord given along with your printer.
  • Connect it to the rear port of the printer and an electrical socket.
  • Turn on the HP printer by pressing the Power button and choose your preferred settings, such as language, the country you are residing in, date, and time.

Load paper

  • Extend the input tray and slide the edge guides towards the edges.
  • Take a stack of paper, fan, and align the sheets neatly.
  • Load the sheets into the input tray and slide the edge guides against the paper.
  • Insert the input tray into the printer and press it until it locks in its place.

Install the ink cartridges

  • Open the printer's cartridge access door and take out the ink cartridges given along with your printer.
