HP ENVY 7640 REVIEWS

The HP Envy 7640 printer can do it all (print, copy, scan, and fax). The printer can also print or scan from a USB device or an SD memory card. It comes with some HP printable-like web apps like DreamWorks, HP Calendar, and much more. You can also register the printer for free with the ePrint service that will allow you to email files as attachments to a unique address. This will be assigned by the HP printer. The printer can also print from iOS and Android devices over a wireless connection or through the HP Smart app or AirPrint (iOS).

This HP Envy printer can produce prints at a speed of just 2.3 pages per minute, which is quite mediocre at best. The printing speed is much slower compared to other HP Envy printers. The output of the prints is mixed. While the quality of the prints is above-par with some average graphics, it is still one of the best printers when it comes to small-scale printing. The graphics are best for general and business purposes.

The HP Envy 7640 printer works with two ink cartridges (black and color). The running costs for this particular printer are less and you can easily save up to 50% with the help of the HP Instant Ink Program.

The HP Envy 7640 printing machine is not so stylish when it comes to looks, but it sticks to the basics when you compare it with the previous printer models in the Envy series. The printer is quite slow and is most suited for home or small office use only. The printer still possesses some modest features and it's quite worthy considering the dual-purpose.

HP ENVY 7855 REVIEWS

HP Envy 7855 is a color inkjet all-in-one printer from HP, with scan and copy functions, an automatic document feeder, Ethernet and Wi-Fi networking, and wireless printing with Apple AirPrint. It works with Windows and macOS.

The HP Envy 7855 printer comes with a scanner, automatic document feeder, built-in fax. But on a bad note, the printer yields a terrible number of black pages and disappointing color pages. Since there is only one color cartridge (tricolor), there is a need for a regular replacement. The cartridges are, however, relatively cheap. This does not hamper with the overall cost-per-print, and it should be fine if it does not print often.

The printer's design is not that good when compared with the HP Envy 7640 printer. The plastic build is very flimsy. One of the disadvantages we found out is that the output tray pops out while a print job is in progress. This hampers the printing and may lead to some printing errors. The HP Envy 7855 printer also has a touchscreen that is not very user-friendly. The touchscreen is quite sensitive and there are various tabs on top of the menu that are small and difficult to properly press and process.
