INSTALLATION

01. INSTALLATION OF HP OFFICEJET 6978

Make sure that all the contents are available inside the box.

Hardware Setup:

Unboxing the printer:

Open the box and take the documentation, ink cartridges, and power cord from the package.
Now, gently pull the printer out of the box.
Next, discard the foam packing materials from both sides of the printer.
Remove the printer from the plastic bag.
Take out all the blue protective tapes around the HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 printer.
Pull out the input tray and then lift the output tray.
Now, remove the blue protective tapes and packing materials inside the tray area.
You can now close the input tray.
It is time to open the scanner lid and discard the foam sheet from the scanner glass.
Close the scanner lid.

Power on the printer:

Plug the power cord into the back of the printer and the other end into an electrical outlet.

Unboxing the printer:

Unpack the printer box and remove the documentation, ink cartridges, etc., from the package.
Pull the printer out of the box.
Next, take away the foam packing materials from both sides of the printer.
Uncover the printer from the plastic bag.
Discard all the blue protective tapes around the HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 printer.
Pull out the input tray.
Lift the output tray.
