01. Installation of HP OfficeJet Pro 9025

Step 1: Unpack HP OfficeJet Pro 9025

• Unpack the printer and all its components from the package.
• Remove all the protective seals and tapes from the printer.
• Now place the printer in a comfortable place where you can easily access the power outlet.

Step 2: Turn on HP OfficeJet Pro 9025

• Connect the power cord to the rear side of the printer and another end to the power outlet.
• Now press the power button on the printer.
• Make sure the printer turns on, and you’ll see the LED light on the printer turn on.
• You can configure the printer's basic settings by accessing the LCD touch screen on the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025.
• Select the Language, country, etc., and tap on the Confirm button.

Step 3: Installation of ink

• Open the front panel of the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 printer.
• Remove the ink-ready cartridges from the package, and make sure you remove all the protective tapes from the cartridge.
• Insert the cartridge into the slot by holding its side.
• Make sure you place and push the cartridge inside firmly until you hear the click sound.
• Repeat the same steps for all the ink cartridges and make sure you insert the cartridges correctly on the respective color slots.
• Now close the front cover and tap on the OK option.
• Wait until the installation takes place.

Step 4: Load the paper

• Pull the paper cassette tray outwards.
• Slide the paper guides to make the paper fit in the tray.
• Place the paper by keeping the printable side facing down.
• Adjust the paper guide and make sure the edges of the paper do not get damaged.
• Close the paper tray and tap OK.
• You can also configure the paper settings manually on the printer screen.

Step 5: Connect HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 to Wi-Fi

• Turn on your Wi-Fi router and make sure you place the printer within the Wi-Fi network range.
• Now access your printer control panel by a tap on the Settings option on the printer screen.
• Select Network setup and tap on the Wireless settings.
• Select Wireless setup wizard from the list.
• Your device will search for the available networks.
• Select your Wi-Fi network name and provide the required details to connect to the Wi-Fi router.
• Wait until the connected message is displayed on the printer screen.

Step 6: Installation of software

Select Connection via a wireless method on the network connection page and wait until the successfully connected message appears on the screen.

02. Installation of HP OfficeJet Pro 6968

Step 1: Unpack HP OfficeJet Pro 6968

• Remove the printer and all its components from the package.
• Remove the protective covers and seals from the printer.
• Lift the scanner unit and remove the protective materials from the printer.
• Now close the scanner unit.
• Place the printer nearby a power outlet so that you can easily access it.

Step 2: Turn on HP OfficeJet Pro 6968

• Connect the power cord to the rear side of the printer and another end to your power outlet.
• Press the power button and make sure the printer turns on.
• Configure the basic settings of the printer by accessing your printer control panel.
• Select your Language, Country, date, time, etc., and tap confirm.

Step 3: Installation of ink

• Open the scanner unit and make sure you remove the protective materials.
• Now unpack the ink cartridges and remove the protective cover and seals.
• Remove the protective orange cap from the ink cartridges.
• Place and insert any of the ink cartridges into the respective color slot. Push it firmly until you hear the click sound.
• Repeat the same steps to insert all the ink cartridges.
• Now close the scanner unit and press OK to charge the ink.
• Wait until the ink charging takes place.

Step 4: Load the paper

• Pull the paper cassette tray.
• Align the paper guide to make the paper fit the tray.
• Place the paper on the tray by keeping the print side facing down.
• Adjust the paper guide to the paper stack and make sure the edges do not get damaged.
• Push the paper tray inside and lower the output tray.
• You can also configure the paper settings on the printer control panel.

Step 5: Connect HP OfficeJet Pro6968 to Wi-Fi

• Make sure the Wi-Fi router is on and the printer is placed within the Wi-Fi network range.
• Tap on the printer screen and select Settings.
• Tap Settings and tap on the Network setup option.
• Make sure the Wireless option is enabled and select the Wireless setup wizard.
• Your printer will search for the nearby Wi-Fi networks.
• Select your Wi-Fi network and provide the required details.
• Wait for few minutes until the connected message pops up on the printer screen.

Step 6: Installation of software

• Turn on your PC and connect it to the Wi-Fi to which the printer is connected.
• Insert the HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 software CD and install the software.
• You can also download the software from the official web page of HP and search for the printer name and model.
• Make sure you download the software that supports your PC's OS.
• Install the software and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
