Having a handoff issue with my phone. Ive got an 86u and a basic RT-ACRH13 router being used as an access point, Im using same ssid and credentials on them but different channels. When I move from one router to the next (AP) my samsung phone camps & wont switch to the stronger signal.
Ive read that android is not very good with switching till the signal is very weak, almost zero. Im not sure if this is true or if something else is at play. Suggestions are welcome?

Step 9 : set tx power adjusted on the 2.4ghz channel to good instead of performance, keep it on highest level for the 5ghz band. Your 2.4 ghz range could slightly drop, but your devices will connect quicker to the 5ghz band instead of the slower 2.4ghz band. For me this had enormous results.
